Our Philosophy and Principles
We build our company based on the ancient Latin proverb "Festina Lente," which translates to "more haste, less speed" in English, or "telaş yavaşlatır" in Turkish, meaning "haste slows you down." We move slowly, but we never compromise on our long-term goals and dreams.
A great example of Festina Lente is the famous Renaissance sculptor Michelangelo. When he decided to create the David statue, he spent four months looking at a 5.5-meter-high block of marble every day before returning home. When asked why he stared at the block, which seemed like a simple stone, he famously replied with "sto lavorando," meaning "I am working." Through this, he indicated that the stone was not just a flat block, but that it held an angel trapped inside. For the next 2.5 years, he chiseled away at the stone, eventually freeing the angel and creating a masterpiece.
Good things take time; they need to mature. For this reason, during the first 6 months of our company’s establishment, in addition to bureaucratic procedures, we visited various wine producers in Italy. We attended the world's largest wine and alcoholic beverage fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, as an importer/distributor, where we participated in numerous Masterclasses and tasting events hosted by various producers. We also explored the menus of many establishments in the gastronomy sector, tasting the best wines for Turkish wine lovers and carefully selecting them. As a result, we've signed a distribution agreement with a prestigous Italian brand "Martellozzo Group"
In sales and distribution, quality and sustainability are our guiding principles. "Less is more" applies to our distribution channel structure as well; we don't aim to be everywhere under all circumstances. Instead, our ideal partners should be trustworthy that made up from honesty and expertise in the business, and individuals or institutions dedicated to ensuring quality and sustainability. This is who we are, and we will do our best to remain this way.
